Demech SDV is used for material cut off below hopper for dry powder / granular material.
Air inflatable seat, sealing the valve in closed position. Thus during valve operation there is no direct friction between seat and dome which ensures longer life.
In open Position, Spherical Dome is completely out of the conveying path, hence there is no obstruction for material flow & also spherical dome is protected from direct contact with the conveying material.
As SDV begins to Close, wiping action of rotating disc smoothly cuts off the flow of the product with no pinch points or opportunity for material to wedge between the seat and the disc.
Spherical Dome Valve requires only a quarter turn from full closed to full open condition
